buildings which include many award winning restaurant, salon and spa designs. MacEwen founded DMAC
Architecture in 1995 and has been consistently seeking and responding to opportunities for design innovation
that is not confined by style.
Dwayne comes to architecture through construction. The son of a builder from Prince Edward Island,
Canada, Dwayne was a proprietor of a successful Canadian construction firm before making the transition
into architecture and design.
Dwayne has worked for the Building Design Partnership in London, Cinto Hom/Armand Fernandez Architects
in Barcelona and Jordan Moser Architects in Chicago where he headed projects for restaurants, offices and
private residences. Dwayne also finds time to lend his experience by participating in academia as a guest
juror as well as conducting design studios at local universities.
